Hi jack I am an incoming international freshman at UBC Vancouver for fall 2023.I have been admitted into the faculty of science and wish to pursue CS.I have no solid CS background , I only know basic python and java , and basic data structures.Can you please give me some insights as to how I could make it to the CS major by second year?Are grades in the first year the only criteria for selection into the CS major?
