"Dead or alive you're coming with me!"
Teyon, the studio behind this game, also made Terminator: Resistance. Hope they'll get to make a Judge Dredd game someday.
Fun, simple, enjoyable game - didn't take a billions hours to finish either. Refreshing.
It's brilliant Peter Weller came back for this.
As a support tech, I loved the fact that I could pick up random computers and toss them at the bad guys.
This game was way more fun than it had any right to be
“Let the girl go or there will be trouble.“
This game was a pleasant and welcome release for gamers, and an absolute boon for fans. I can't believe how faithful and immersive it was - plain and simple. It felt like Robocop in every way. This game truly showed that, if the devs are allowed the liberty to do their jobs, the source material is kept faithful, and the project remembers what it is trying to be, games can still be incredible even on a low budget or from an indie company - even big name franchises. I am absolutely looking forward to the sequel. Highly recommend this game.
"Thank you for your cooperation, good night."
Robocop vs the Terminator was excellent on the Sega Genesis; it was one of my favorite side-scrolling shooters. I just got this on sale and will try it soon.
I thought the game was excellent from start to finish. Yes, it wasn't perfect, though it was a AA game, made by a small team. It not being filled with Ubisoft bloat didn't make it any less enjoyable. I thought it was better off without it. I'm looking forward to the next game in this series. I thought it was DLC, though it's a standalone game, called Robocop - Rogue City: Unfinished Business. Out in August.
Love this game, Terminator Resistance was also quite good. It's great AA or medium sized studios can treat IPs with better respect than the IP owners. Also on PC I encountered basically zero glitches
Guys, PC version, mods with original sound effects from the movie makes this game even more enjoyable
This game was an absolute blast. Im 52 and finished this last month. So many Easter Eggs, Peter Wellers voice, the sound of the gun.
This game understood the assignment. Developers did the homework, kept in the world built by the first two movies, even made ED-209 look stop motion, and didn’t charge $60. Honestly one of the best mindless shooters I’ve played in a long ass time
10 time's better than anything Ubisoft puts out these days
That game was great. Seventeen hours to 100% it with all achievements. I'm eager to get my hands on the DLC.
I picked up a sniper rifle during a riot. An ED-209 was going nuts. When I fired the rifle and saw the explosion. I yelled, "I GOT A COBRA ASSAULT CANNON!!!" The wave of nostalgia and dopamine put a grin on my face. I felt like a kid again. I didn't release I picked up one of the most iconic Robocop weapons, aside from the Auto-9. I had fun playing the game. Especially throwing gang members through windows in the first level.
I bought the Alex Murphy edition. And from what I played so far, it is fun and pays homage to the Robocop movies! It's definitely worth supporting those who created this shoot'em up banger of a game!
