OMG THANK YOU JOMA!!! This is exactly what I really need now. I've been feeling so lost, no direction, and lonely prepping for my tech interview 😭 Thanks, man!
A LeetCode a day keeps the unemployment away
"I couldn't even do the easy questions" This makes me feel so much better. It's just a matter of practice
Joma, congrats. You are doing great out there by helping us college students!
Joma is the epitome of "hard work pays off" and it really does, talent can only take you so far but if you're talented and lazy you begin to cap off and all the hardworkers behind you will start to catch up and out curve you in skill since you've become complacent in your ability. Always stay humble and have a thirst for knowledge. You are an inspiration and I don't think you know it.
It actually makes me feel good knowing that Joma can’t do some of the medium questions either. At least I’m not stupid
Just seeing this makes me happy. These 'non-technical' sides that both you and The TechLead present to us viewers helps us grasp the reality of being in this industry not only as a software engineer, data scientist etc. but also as an experienced/aspiring developer who deals with day to day personal problems. Thank you
Now January 2022, and the company is Google and Joma has quit Legend!!
Hey Joma. Even I got an offer from NAB today. Watching yours and Techlead’s videos was one of the best things I did to prepare . Thanks a lot bro! -Raj
Congrats man!! I want to learn how to code! I signed up 👍👍👍
HR person watching this ...immediate face palm when he says 'when I quit' || Silicon Valley Engineers
Next video: A day in the life of an Uber Software Engineer :D. Congratz!
Today is my 5th day of Leetcoding, and I feel so depressed because of the questions that I have done. I just keep forgetting them after I have done it a day before. And every time I look at a new question, I feel like I don't know anything at all. Your video encourages me to keep going!!! Wish me luck to get an offer when I gradute.
You deserved it totally Joma, Congrats Bro 😎
Hell yeah Joma. I did over 150 questions over 2 months for my FAANG interviews and got an offer!. I’m enjoying my summer now, but I want to try to do at least one question a day or two after I start so when I interview again I kick ass. Might look at your program later!
Those who don't have time to watch the video, here is what he says. Train your memory on programming exercises and you will get a job. FB, Google, Uber etc will hire people with a good memory.
It's awesome how you're so transparent man, it helps. I'm software engineer myself, but not in Silicon Valley since I've heard horror stories about cost of living and such, so it was never something I paid attention to.
but are you an ex google tech lead?
