I’ve read a lot of books about power and psychology, but 77 Codes of Power just hits different.

Been listening to a lot of TED talks recently while I’m doing chores and they make my mood so much better. I highly recommend them for anyone who’s trying to be in a positive mindset.

I always liked the phrase, "We accept the love we think we deserve". I've found that to be very true.

" If you don't become the star of your own movie of your life, you'll be an extra in somebody else's." # I felt that.

@leadershipplaybookpodcast

“If you don’t become the star of the movie of your life, you’ll be an extra in somebody else’s.” Pure gold.

This may be one of the best TED Talks on the net.

One of the important things he said:

By mastering our sense of self we’re able to walk into a room where everything’s descending into chaos and retain our center. When everything’s breaking down around us with the eye of the storm, it’s like “ move, I’ll handle that”. That’s the best way that you’ll be able to handle uncertainty.

Someone give this man a medal already! One of the most important and inspiring 18 minutes of my life. This talk is exactly what he means by the right kind of programming!

@SoftSangvinik

"People will never rise above the opinion of themselves." Thank you for the awakening and the inspiration.

@tourproven

I was blown away by the statement "People will never rise above the opinion of themselves ". My entire life accomplishments (or lack thereof) just instantly and absolutely clicked into place with a deep seeded understanding after seeing/hearing that. I need to acquire a much better opinion of myself. I know that I am my own worst enemy and critic. Just like he said, I have allowed my environment and those around me reinforce a negative perception of myself. Brilliant TED talk.

@ninlor6415

“Love your family, Choose your friends.”
it hits hard when all you did in your life was to try to fit in circle of people that you don’t belong because you just wanted someones company even though it is bad for you.
