I think the reason the creaking behave like weeping angels is because the creaking's design are based on aspen trees. aspen trees are a pale white (like the inside of pale oak) and often covered in an EYE pattern. a tree that can see...

I have a theory, in peaceful mode. You aren’t playing as a player as usual, you’re a ghost. There’s no monsters because it’s not something you’re bothered with, your hunger doesn’t decrease because you don’t need to eat. Your unalive. And the reason it’s “peaceful Mode” is because you’re resting in peace.

Unfortunately for the creaking, they werent strong enough to stop me from mining an entire pale oak forest, and then moving the trees to my base, currently making a giant creaking heart that spawns a few creaking and actually beats like a heart and im SUPER happy that i can name tag them, now i can actually imprison some for experiments

Something doesn't add up for me. If the Illagers are afraid of the creaking because of what it does... Why doesn't it do anything to them? It has no aggression towards Illagers but attacks any player regardless of whether that player has hurt any tree or not. There's definitely more to this than what you just said.

2:27 fun fact, in this scene where the dude looked behind him and the angel got closer (while he didn’t know it), he didn’t need to look behind him, the eyes of the angel he was looking at were open, meaning it could see anything behind him, so no angels would be able to sneak up behind him because the angel in front of him would see it and the angel coming from behind would then turn to stone due to being observed by the angel in front of him
