@VonkOfficial

$20M in the pocket of an indie dev, instead of Ubisoft or EA is a win in my book. The game is pretty fun too

@tr00ler24

No micro transactions, no shity storyline, just a nice game

@Pro_MemeMaker

He’s not competing. There’s no one to compete with.

@PoliAstroN

Shock. When you make a game that people enjoy, and doesn’t have microtransactions, and you get the full product, people actually buy the game. Who would’ve thought. It’s a crazy concept indeed

@hummisman

Tyler deserves it. His game is an oasis of simplicity and fun amidst a corrupt and over complicated game industry

@-----Alcatraz------

Ubisoft CEO: Tyler made this game in his bedroom. And he only had $100!

@ThePianoMan1210

I love when indie devs make so much money they will never have to work again. They can just enjoy what they do and make good art

@violetcovers5699

i think this one can be accredited to Caseoh tbh. Tyler's friend was watching Caseoh stream when he clicked on the demo and immediately got Tyler to send the full game to him early. which led to millions of people seeing it before release. crazy how a small coincidence can change someones life

@manipulan

Tyler, the developer

@Random-prince-mush-lover

The fact that Tyler solely relied on word of mouth to promote his game is insane, props to him.

@ImJustSpaceMan

Walter white sim

@mcgaming609

A beautiful example of making something for fun prevails and I love it. Just because a company makes a game with high budget doesn’t mean it’s fun. Indie Devs deserve the love tbh.

@Zethios

Imagine waking up one morning and the silly drug game you made has made you a millionaire

@johnsupergeil7098

I heard about it from a friend. I looked at the page and say it had a free demo. The demo was fun and I bought it a bit later.

Word or mouth and letting my try before I buy. That's how you get real success beyond numbers. You get genuine respect from the gaming community

@10N1Z3D

The embodiment of "he built this in a cave... WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!!!" and im here for it

@RorroYT-SAR

I told this point a lot of times, and will say it again, you can create video games without a lot of marketing like ads, and still get it to be popular. And this game is one of the examples.
Btw, congrats to Tyler, I hope he'll continue making more games other than this game, because some people usually give up after such success.

@Therussianidk

It truly shows that gameplay is most Important than graphics

@Orion31

Almost like people want a fun, genuine game and not some corporate slop

@zedokaiba6047

Dont forget, drug dealer simulator is trying to sue him

@v0ir

dude tyler is loaded now.
