@g6autobot

Save the 300 dollars the 13R is a good looking phone! Thank for the videos.

@d_trich

OnePlus does a really good job of making premium-looking mid-range devices, and mid-range looking premium devices

@danutgabriel7024

Finally! I started to worry we won't have a true durability test of the OnePlus 13

@cr7akki

I am watching it on my one plus 7 ,which passed your durability test back in the day!! Still Rockin'

@bmar1784

Pretty sure this channel has led directly to teams not having symmetric antenna lines

@mohamedelrayan9506

U need to add a casual drop test, Idk why u Haven't done it ever, it literally just crossed my mind 👀 this is a durability chanel after all

@mrgw98

I've been waiting for flagship Android phones to get flat screens back again since they first started doing curved edges. Here's to the OnePlus 14 having a flat screen again.

@BozQ

Both impressive models. And the 13R swapping out the macro for telephoto lens is a major win! It's time phone manufacturers drop the low resolution macro lens from mid-range models. I'm looking at you Samsung.

@mrgw98

0:52 "2019 was 6 years ago" There is evil, and then there is. Way too far, Zack!

@RealRex

I dont like getting reminded that 2019 was six years ago.

Great review as always though.

@masonryel1502

I agree, they look backwards on which one is more expensive!

@TOGC

I've had my 13R for a few weeks now and love it. I upgraded from the OnePlus 8T. After years of faithful service. My wife had the Note9 for years and dropped it, killing the screen so I got her a OnePlus 10R and she loves it. (this was before 13 came out and 12's were expensive still)

Seriously though, OnePlus makes some absolute banger phones. Flagship performance, specs and features without the flagship price. Solid phones being under $1000 nowadays is unheard of.

Fun fact, to a degree, OP phones have always been water resistant, OP had just never paid for the certification until now. My 8T literally fell into the tub once full of water and I quickly pulled it out. It worked fine for years after. Hell, it still works. I just wanted an upgrade.

IP65 is an Ingress Protection (IP) rating that signifies a device is protected against dust and water, specifically against low-pressure water jets from any direction. The "6" indicates dust-tight protection, meaning the device is highly resistant to dust ingress, while the "5" indicates protection against water jets from all directions.

@ExE_9808

To call having the charger brick included, "generous" and not "the basic fucking standard" really has me worried for how companies are gonna be treating their users in a decade or so...

@zues121510

Curves were cool in 2017 when we couldn't quite have zero bezels but at least we had no bezels on the sides and very thin ones at the top and bottom. Now that we have 90% screen to body ratios and the curve glass isn't important for a screen feeling nice now and its a pain in the ass to get a screen protector on, protecting the edges requires really thick cases and even then its not perfect, accidental touches are still a problem and a flat screen is more immersive because of a lack of colour tint at an angle. So many amazing flagships, mainly from chinese brands that are ruined by this.
