When developers explain code / concepts to a gain a greater understanding it's called rubber ducking, as in you're explaining it to a rubber duck. Many actually have a rubber duck as a desk mascot too.
Congrats! And it is a great job :D Also don't forget to be updated on latest trends in your area ^^
Please do a quant dev QnA and how you got into the field, prerequisites , projects, courses etc thank you
Love vlogs like this!
what are you mainly emphasizing on your job as a quant dev? Also, what is your tech stack that you use at work?
Congratulations, Ioana!β€ππβ€
awesome - welcome to the world of quant!
Love the vlog!
Thank you. Could I ask what part of math should I brush up on? I am working as a trading exchange dev, understanding low latency etc. but just donβt have the math part nailed. Any tips on which part of mathematics to focus on , and the resources too thanks
current CS fresher at Oxford - any advice for my application to these quant companies? I have received a few online assessments for spring weeks at some quants but I am mainly targeting internships next year.
Congratulations π π
Interesting topic & vlog, subbed π

Great video. Iβd love to see more quant related content, youβd be one of the few doing it.
I have 40 hours a week 9 - 6pm too but its too long, 35 hours 9-5pm makes a big difference
Wow you are a quant dev. Very impressive. Congratulations!
Hi! Do you have a plan to make a book review?
Do you think a degree of MSc in advanced computing/software engineering from Oxford would put you in the same position rather than a pure maths graduate degree?
