Yet again I find myself thinking that a :'<,'>s command would be faster, but this is still cool too. That's one of the great dilemmas when using Vim. There are no fewer than 4 ways to do literally everything, and in some cases hundreds more, so you have your choice of many paths. Maybe someone should make a personality test based on Vim choices.
