You interrupt and override Charlotte too much. Not sure why you invited her as it’s only your opinion 2/3-3/4 of the time and we don’t really get much mutual input.

@af2954

loved the video but please also consider the other person's rankings😭 watching her opinions and rankings constantly getting overlooked and overridden is kinda annoying especially because she had some great points. I don't even go to UBC/western (I'm a McGill student) and even I believe UBC is above Waterloo on S tier and western on A tier given that it excels in multiple programs (pre med, pre law, business, cs, etc due to the dual major aspect of Ivey).

@christinecamley

I'm with Charlotte. Ottawa is better than Queen's. U of Calgary Foothills is excellent. You seem to overtake Charlotte a bit. She makes some terrific points. I agree with her.

@EclecticPerson

UofT properly has the highest ranking, overall. But in the U.S. and Europe, McGill still has comparable name recognition as the "Harvard of Canada", though clearly UofT is ranked higher by "people who know" (e.g., HR departments and ranking organizations).

UBC is now firmly in the mix of the "top 3" large Canadian universities (with UofT and McGill). Indeed, UBC now has a better overall reputation than McGill, in most contexts, and among most observers (both domestically and internationally), than McGill.

Queen's and Western are known specifically as having the two best undergraduate business schools (Commerce at Queen's, HBA at Western) for future employment on Bay Street (Toronto) or Wall Street (NYC). They are in a class by themselves in this regard.

UofT is considered to have the best MBA program, just as UofT also has the best law school, and medical school too. But, of course, those are not undergraduate programs.

Waterloo is known for its exceptional Computer Science department, but Waterloo is not so highly regarded outside of CS.

Given these various factors, it's a bit simplistic to rank the different schools as you've done, since, for CS, Waterloo is the best (probably tied with UofT). And for undergraduate business, Queen's and Western are the two best.

@bradleystephen3378

Only correct list: u of t, uw, queens, western

@Ali-eq4uo

Did undergrad at UofT's Trinity college, (and Rotman as well), 2018.

UofT #1; and within that Trinity College is tops!!

@ameerqamar2328

uw alum & charlotte was spot on at all points she made

@christinecamley

UBC, U of T.

@yosselokn

It's been a while, good to have u back !

@abouttime5000

Ranking is all very interesting but it is the student and what they do with their degree that counts. The undergrad degree is not that big a deal. Grad School and the Professional Schools are more linked to the University in question and even then a student's success is determined by his/her personal drive and ambition.

@Mr123456789ho

completely unwatchable

@thelogicbunny-official

Ottawa also has carleton university

@Kelvin-db3en

Good thing Charlotte was in here to keep Richard in check LMFAOOO (totally not bc I graduated from UBC law). Overall agree with this ranking tho!

@Christopher-b1p

Ottawa U should not even be on the list. Complete waste of time. How's about ranking universities by student suicides. Ottawa U #1

@skilikeheaven

What happened to queens? It was above all other schools here back in 90s

@wombattakat

The thing about Queens is almost everyone who doesn’t go there thinks it’s Canada’s Ivy League but almost everyone who does go there thinks it should be nowhere near the top lmao

@alileeisonethebridge

lol... It's only Mcgill, UBC, Queen's, UofT, Western, McMaster, Waterloo (for some subjects), the rest is not important at all

@wombattakat

Y’all didn’t mention Queens as a party school or Queens v Western rivalry?

@Lalalalala98872

im a us student but i wish i grew up in canada 😭😭 im in boston but i visited vancouver and calgary. it’s so much nicer and i love the campuses so much!! it’s really hard to get into ivies here
