"There's enough people telling us we can't do it. Why do we want to tell that to ourselves?". Just WOW.

@varunkirti7470

Confidence is the mindset of knowing that "no matter what happens, I am gonna be alright!"

@ChristieTE

@Abdullahhbasaran

@awesomesauce2757

Summary on how to become self-confident:
1. repetition persistently
2. positive self-talk or self-affirmation; get a personal mantra
3. get away from people who will tear you down
4. positive perception/interpretation of all situations

To build confidence in others:
1. catch them when they are good (highlight when they do well)

@JonnyKahann

I watched this last year and it motivated me to run a marathon. Now I've done 2 marathons in total and a bunch of other races. Got 3 marathons planned for next year. Believing in yourself is very important!!

@cottagely

Important points I picked up in this
- persistent practice makes perfect
- stop negative self-talk
- reinforcing positive behaviour through positive feedback
- live strong and don't let other people drag you down

@FeliciaStepanpodcast

I used to treat other people the best I could, and I still am; the only difference is I started to treat myself the same. I treat myself the same way I treat the people I love, and I feel more confident and more happy since then. This video is a real treasure! Thank you so much!

@scorpion6491

@bloxZ

The fact that this video got so much views reminds us that self confidence is a big issue

@muazothman7416

he was my athletic director at my university. I remember talking to him and sort of asking(begging) him if i can drive his model S he was so nice to throw the keys to me and in his voice said " run before i change my mind". Nicest guy you'll meet.

@Paulo-lr1lf

10 years later I'm still going back to this video which really changed my life and made me who I am today. At that time, me as a Brazillian still did not understand english, but I watched it many times, translating every word and it inspired me. 2 Years later, I became fluent in english and went to US to study Manufacturing Engineering there and then I came back to my home country. Today I'm a polyglot, I have a good job and the life I wished to have 10 years ago, which I was able to construct with the self confidence, motivation and a lot of effort videos and books like this tought me. I know Dr. Ivan will never read my comment, but I just want to say: THANK YOU !!! Regards from Brazil!! It's awesome how a video posted can change lives many many miles away and for years!
