I love how aggressive and threatening the lyrics are towards the subject; like, the scariest part isn't bringing someone back from the dead, it's doing so without them having any say in the matter, forcing them back into a life of performance and expectations that they maybe they didn't want to return to. i actually read somewhere that this interaction: "it's like you haven't aged a day, oh! it's almost like we know what we're doing, or something." could also double as a nod to the fact that people think neil is reverting back to his older styles of music in this album, but he knows exactly what he's doing. kind of a neat thought
