@TOETHELINEGOLF1

"Alena, the girl you beat half to death, her life is going to go on. Yours is going to end here on this funky floor." EPIC. Denzel is my all time favorite actor. Hands down.

@islandmanmikep

The best part about this outstanding scene is Denzel shows the character really hates killing anyone and tried to be civil till he had no choice.

@flamarjr2000

Denzel is undoubtedly one of the greatest actors to ever live.

@Dantestrydom

The fact that Denzel Washington ( Robert McCall ) gives his opponents a chance to speak Finnish and say what they have to say and give them a chance to make the right decision and walk away is just amazing. And also the fact that he wasn't hit once in this scene makes it one of the greatest fighting scenes in film history.

@Syryu

One of my favorite bits in this scene is the part where Robert is constantly opening and closing the door, symbolizing his internal battle with himself. He wants to remain true to the promise he made to his late wife that he won't walk this violent path anymore, but these gangsters have proven themselves to be so despicable that he can't stand the thought of just letting them walk.

@phildimotsantos2560

The symbolism of Denzel slowly and deliberately turning each of the skulls on the desk towards the three men as a foreshadowing of what's to come, is simply chilling and brilliant.

@PhantomMortuary

No matter how many times I watch this scene it never gets old.

@ajc1482

You can see the second he realises that the situation won't end peacefully.

And the bit where he's working out his time is fantastic, the facial expression when he realised he was three seconds off of his time 😅

@hahabass

I love the way McCall totally side-steps the question, ‘Who are you?’ and completes the countdown to the point of death.

@MichaelWasylyk

Robert McCall is the epitome of "I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with me." Very chilling and well-executed role.

@fbwthe6

moving the skulls as a way of saying you’re all about to die is so maniacal i love it

@johngarnham5772

This scene never gets old. Great acting, camera work, effects and direction by everyone involved. The repeated door closing and door locking gets me ever time. Here we go!

@GeoKan

The fact that McCall does not care how many they are, but how long it will take him to kill them... Gives me chills EVERY time!

@BrianWD75

Denzel is a Master of his craft... He plays every role he takes with unbelievable passion and authenticity... He has a personal moral code that extends beyond his personal life and he is a role model in so many ways. One of my favorite actors without question.

@okolekahuna3862

I just decided to watch this movie because it was on Amazon Prime. When this scene went down, I was totally surprised. It caught me off guard. Still one of the best movie fight scenes.

@lacosa24x

This was the last movie me and my dad watched together we watched all 3 but I put this one again Saturday and he passed away Monday he had bad stroke and wasn’t with it he had a few of them but he loved Denzel a lot and this series and all our shows we watched im 30 he was 81 I spent a lot of time taking care of him on hospice the last two years it was hard very hard but we kept him home and all these movies are going to be hard to watch now.

@larryoconnor7094

Denzel never fails to to deliver an audience pleasing performance.

@davidknightx

My favorite part was when he repeatedly opens and closes the door. It's the perfect representation of what's happening mentally with the character. "I promised her I'd never do this again" "I'm Alina's only hope" "I promised my dead wife" "Alina needs you" "Leave" "Stay" "Leave" "Stay"
Door locks "OK, this is now happening"

@Great_America

He’s not apologizing to the Russian, he’s apologizing to his wife.

@sonlageoliveira6721

Não perco um filme com o Denzel Washington.
Que performance. E Que Charmoso!Adoorrrooo!!!❤❤❤❤
