Make it easier on yourself. If you’re going to crown the tooth anyway, prep the occlusal down first and flat. Now your endo length is shorter, it’s easier to see, and the risk of fracture is low since it’s out of occlusion.

My concern is the rubber dam they use. Are you able to breathe some through it??

Just had a root canal done and sad to say the Dentist sucked, they didn’t use a cover like this and everything they were doing to the tooth, some of it went down my throat causing me to gag and puke. I was having tremendous amount of pain (I have experienced kidney stones , Ovarian Cysts and ruptures, Gallstones, and child birth. But nerve pain takes the cakes! I cried so hard and literally contemplated about running my head into the wall, to knock myself out to stop the pain. So I needed a Dentist immediately. However they scheduled me at the end of the day and balked at wanting to do the root canal and wanted to put it off for a week. Told him not happening! I can’t eat or sleep so something needs to happen. ((He also didn’t use anything to keep my mouth open. I told him about it and then used it something!) Just a bad experience overall. Going back to get my crown, but won’t see them after this

if your tooth have a problem, your dentists might say it need an extraction, and a crown doesn't help at all.........and if your tooth doesn't have a problem, your dentist will say your tooth need a crown and can't left it like that.......... what kind of business is this??? yeah implant money more expensive then crown......... that is why an extraction for a tooth is need it so you can give us implant............always think about yourself dentist..........want money from us
