Well when you understand that Homura has been rewinding time for who knows how long and has probably tried to help Sayaka in those timelines and failed. I’d say she’s just grown tired of it all, and just continued to mainly focus on helping madoka.

she was willing to change all of time to save madoka only for madoka to turn into a goddess, twice. once bc she did it without caution, the other because homura stopped her in time, which kind of proves, homura still wants madoka to live and have a happy life without knowing who kyubey is
