So what is your favorite Metal subgenre? And your favorite bands from said style.

@broncoxy

good list but kind of disappointed you didnt mention experimental blackened eastern mongolian folk avant garde stoner doom tbh

@a.pigeon

This man is such a chad, giving us a whole grindcore album just for a bit

@skullkrusher4418

It's nice that you were able to fit an entire grindcore song into that 5 second riff sample.

@springerjkreb

Power Metal is the saturday morning cartoons of the metal scene. Big, over the top, and unapologetic in its awesomeness.

@lexmirnov

Pterodactyl vocals is the best description of black ever seen

@alexbraswell5021

Came here to learn about metal. This kid fucking baptized me with his guitar skills.

@Thesnakerox

Brutal death metal be like:
Vocals: EUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRR
Lyrics: A 50-page monologue about humanity's existence and its place in the universe

@PJFeldsine

5:57 - Dude ages 20 years in 3 seconds and then goes back.

@mackhomie6

The technical death metal riff sounded life it was pulled straight from a necrophagist album

As a huge fan of grindcore, I'm happy and thankful that you played the entire song in those short 5 seconds. 😊

@GalaxyCurse

It's impressive that you managed to make 8 full songs for the grindcore segment while all other genres only got a sample.
Muy bueno hombre.

@oreiller4184

As a prog fan, let me explain how "long asf songs" is an understatement. A few months ago I went to a concert with four bands playing ( the concert was like 4 hours long lmao ), the last of which was Stellar Circuits. At the end of their set they announced "this is our last song for tonight" and as kind of a newbie at the time I thought that it would end in like 7-10 minutes. The last song ended up being 23 minutes long. It was AWESOME

Update : went to see Haken live a few months ago. Their concert was three hours of just them. THREE H O U R S. I had barely listened to them before and they blew my mind so much I bought a t-shirt after with no hesitation. These guys are INSANE in the best way possible !!!

@AppleOno

This is actually helpful for us old folks from back in the day when there were just 3 types of metal: slow, medium and fast, LoL.
