No one's got any money how the f*** is anybody going to tip anyone

@Slimedog1963

No one is working overtime and no one is going to tip with outrageous prices.

@Jeff-s3n5z

I'm walking around parking lots picking up change . Picking up cans. I'm not panhandling, or carrying a help me sign.
 Every day I'm trying to get by.

@7F0X7

That is pure evil to reduce someone's pay because taxes got lowered. It's no skin off the employers back what the individual employees are taxed out of their paycheck, they are just that greedy.

@johnlance-bu6jj

I retired from major tire plant . When mgt. needed overtime it was hard to get employees to work over because taxes would really cut into their overtime . Wasn't worth getting overtime .

@mydressmemos

I was part of the recent layoffs at Tesla and this bites hard. I am grateful that I kept some savings about; $600k and I am looking for ways to invest this into the stock market to generate good dividends to supplement for my monthly expenses.

@KartikTodase

this type of content hits different after reading the book 22 dark truths… feels like seeing behind the curtain

@jg1709

Please pray for my granddaughter, Nicole. She had a cerebral dissection and a blood clot that caused a stroke. She is only 28 years old. I don’t think she is saved.

@JohnCash001

As someone who has traveled all over the world, I prefer not tipping like in most countries, where people are just paid fairly. The good thing about Tipping in the U.S. is I am motivated to just cook or do everything to avoid being in a spot where I have to tip to begin with.

@brendamartin7280

Sahara Tahoe coffee shop only paid $2 when minimum wage was $6 they counted tips for the rest of the hourly wage so you got taxed on tips you might get. I quit after a year of mistreatment

@adelam146

The no taxes on tips or overtime only works if people are giving tips or companies are allowing overtime. Right now lots of companies are not allowing overtime and restaurant customers are disappearing.

@michaelrenzi-us7xd

They want people to work but yet they're laying people off,it makes alot of sense

@davidrobinson919

All to give the rich a tax break

@Jaimeshady

No matter what happens there will
always be ones that are unhappy.

@Ginger-v2d

You are wrong. I worked in a payroll deportment for about ten years and, unless something has drastically changed in recent years, that is NOT how overtime pay is calculated. In your example of someone working 45 hours at a rate of $20 per hour… their overtime pay would equal the FULL $30 per hour overtime rate times their 5 overtime hours, or $150.. which should be fully tax free. In the state I live in, it would be illegal to classify any hours over 40 as ‘regular’ hours. So those 5 hours cannot be considered ‘regular’ hours. They are ‘overtime’ hours and therefore part of the overtime pay.

@doriscasto5336

OMG...why can't these companies just allow the workers to make a little more money with their tips? Give them a break!!!!

@RougeRaid

recession is here and the government should not delay it and let economic take it course and make correction

@tedbreckner

If Trump keeps up his tariffs, nobody will be working.

@nildarodriguez3974

With all due respect, the Byrd rule can take a flying leap. SSA has been negligent in their administrative ineptness in allowing corruption and improper audit/investigations. So we the people, the fixed income elderly, widows and widowers who are below filing taxes status receive nothing and continue to be double taxed. Great big ugly inhumane bill. Get real Senators, your healthy incomes will get you through your crotchety years while you tell us "Let them eat cake". Good grief!

@outofshapecartoons4138

That's funny. I work in the utility field and they're hiring again in June.
