If its a dust or particle issue, heres some simple tips, when ur done playing take the controller and put it upside down on the stick, that way no dust can enter from the top or find a box with no holes just a cover and put it in there and take it out when ready to use, u can put it in a small platic bag or buy a controller case, I do the upside down controller thing, it works as well as the rest on this list
