You would think since their entire "medium" is typing, they would be better at forming arguements or even typing at all.
"Pfft, it's ironic you say you're a 'real cook' when you use an oven and not an open flame. You're just like me, someone who only orders take-out."
Imagine accusing an artist with a defined style of not knowing how to draw
The most kind and patient "shut up" I've ever seen
These people would call themselves 5 star chefs for ordering a meal at a restaurant, claiming it as their own creation
That’s like a person sitting in the back of a self-crashing tesla saying “well you’re driving an automatic, so we’re basically the same!”
it's like the "video game music isn't real music" argument.
The easiest way I've told people is that a keyboard is like a piano but they both are their own instrument whereas a self-playing piano is neither of the two
I think that the thing that pisses me off the most is people thinking that digital art is just clicking a few buttons and having your piece finished.
as a person who prefers drawing traditionally, learning digital art is NO JOKE and its own real beast. anyone who says otherwise just has an unchecked superiority complex
I honestly find doing digital art harder, (granted i dont do it much) but either way, your still putting in work with the art. Ai art is basically someone saying they made a meal, when all they did was tell the order for it.
this is hysterical, comparing smudge/blur or the fill bucket tool (simple tools that make it easier to do certain tedious things without taking away from the expertise needed to draw high-quality art) to a literal "we make the image for you" machine is CRAZY LMAOOOOO
This was something that really worried me about AI "art": the return of bashing on digital art.
Ai artist make an argument that makes sense challenge (100% impossible)
Dislikes are from image prompters
When a digital artist experiences a power outage, they pick up a pen and paper. Wham an ai “artist” experiences a power outage, they yell and scream on a street corner, demanding someone to draw for them.
Honestly when people draw those kinds of comparisons it just tells me how much they really know about making art
It’s like saying a writer isn’t really a writer because they type instead of pen to paper and access the “luxury” of auto correct. Omg thank y’all so much for all the likes❤
The fact that you had to show a time-lapse is proof enough that digital art is a skill and takes effort.
