@jkitovar05

I am a caregiver for a sweet 92 year old lady who just just decided to tell me recently that she used to party in Palm Springs in the 1950’s and once had dinner with the rat pack at Frank Sinatra’s house. His Mama made spaghetti.

@tonianjelica

I'm here for the vintage tea 😊

@robertbishop5357

My grandfather had a cottage here. He gave a car to Clark Gable. We have a picture of him handing him a key to the car. They used the entrance to my grandfather's home for the shoot.

@kelebeck5905

I think that not being able to marry again after a divorce for on year isn’t a terrible idea

@JustinY.

Cocaine is one hell of a drug.

@joesoto690

It was a Jolly Roger flag! Not a Jack Daniel's flag!

@christineparedezfonseca964

I want the tea.

@mandiemoore3272

I grew up in palm springs, even graduated palm springs high school, and boy do I have some crazy stories of the real REAL palm springs life.

@itiswhatitis7291

I was born and raised there. I have seen every inch of Palm Springs. I have met alot of people who can tell you some amziing stories. I worked for a construction crew who remodeled the Frank Sinatra house in Palm Springs. We remodeled the Betty ford home. I lived directly across form Sony Bonos house. Palm Springs is very interesting place with alot of history and secrets.

@richardphysician5640

Valentino was in The Sheik, not The Shriek. Also not pronounced Shrek or Skank, it's simply The Sheik.

@BlackMarketIII

As a kid in the mid to late 70’s, we’d drive past Bob Hope’s house every day on the way to school. Gerald and Betty Ford were known to throw some shindigs too. As a matter of fact, the Shaw of Iran was holed up there for awhile as well!

@horsefeatherkate

"The SHRIEK"?!?

@diegodelgado9764

Bogart really picked a loyal one huh

@anthonysteel6877

Elvis flocked to Palm Springs ?.Can one person flock ?

@LoveSaintBernards

The shriek? It was the sheik.

@TheTibmeister

Listerone If you want to read about ordinary people in Hollywood read about Fred MacMurray. Primarily know by hi s role in Double Indemnity he was widowed twice his second wife June Haver and he were married over thirty years until his death. At one point he was the highest paid actor in Hollywood and fourth highest paid man in the U.S. Never set foot in Palms Springs and when filming finished went home to his wife and kids. Had a career that lasted over 60 years. He did have one passion though: golf.

@lolabigcups7121

How odd, they prosecuted a man for not being single long enough before remarrying but was completely cool with a grown man marrying a child.
We live in a strange world.

@mangot589

Joe DiMaggio must have loved looking at that statue every day. He was humiliated by that skirt scene, and apparently even hit her over it.

@stevebirks2186

Short but always interesting - Thankyou !

@erikramaekers63

Bacall also had a affair with Peter Lawford (another member of the Rat Pack) while Bogart was dying of cancer.If you're looking for decent people among the Hollywood stars,you can count them on the fingers of one hand.
