“One unbreakable shield against the coming darkness, One last blade, forged in defiance of fate. Let them be my legacy to the galaxy I conquered, And my final gift to a species I failed.” —Arcus Daemonica, Emperor of Mankind.

@guyvengeance286

I like the fact that all the other "embrace" songs are "embrace THE [something]", like in global sence, like it's an inevitable cosmic concept, while this song is "embrace YOUR humanity", like it's a personalized message from the Emperor

@TotallyACat

What I love about this “Embrace” song is the dichotomy between it and the Chaos ones.

The Chaos ones TELL you to embrace them. They ASSUME you will.

This one asks.

Will you?

Will you embrace Humanity? Yours? Others? You have a choice; You can choose not to; there are consequences to this. It’s not a decision to make lightly. You WILL be tested; You WILL struggle.

But.

Anything worth fighting for is never easy, but it IS worth it. Humanity IS worth it. Because we CAN be better.

There’s Hope in that message, I think.

We could use some Hope right now.

@Just-Call-Me-Kaminari

"The universe has many horrors yet to throw at us. This is not the end of our struggle. This is just the beginning of our crusade to save Humanity. Be faithful! Be strong! Be vigilant!" - Last words of the Emperor of Mankind before he was interred in the Golden Throne

@CteCrassus

"I am not God, I am not Myth / I am the sum of all you give" slaps hard. However, paradoxically, "all we give" is precisely what myths and gods are made of in the first place...

@Omega_the_stoopid_marine

Love how this song uses art from every imperium song thus far.

@PsychoTy1998

I have never felt more Patriotism for the Imperium more since The Henry Cavill song. Truly you know how to make someone loyalist..

@Xunnenth

This is imperfectly perfect, just like humanity. I feel like you really captured the Emperor and His message, shedding Light on us all with this one.

++Ave Imperator Eternum!++

@duncanfenris7587

For all the grimdark, I feel 40k is still at its core “the indomitable human spirit”. And now it has an awesome theme, I love the use of art from the previous Imperium songs. Feels like a culmination of the theme and a celebration of this channel’s journey. Great stuff!

@prestonjones1653

This isn't a song. This isn't music.

This is a love letter. A love letter to an entire species.

@GrimdarkTavern

For the Throne! For the God Emperor, I purge the heretics, Xenos, etc, etc. For Humanity!

@linus8380

Big E having three songs dedicated to him goes so hard, especially because two of them are about embracing it, first the light that is the Imperium of man, even if it is a festering corpse it is still a cleansing flame, and now this, which calls for to embrace your humanity and accept your duty as a harbinger of true change, a herald of defiance, the natural Born dominators of the realms above and below, humanity, None may stay our March.

@rando5638

"We fight in the hopes that those who come after us will no longer have to. No matter how many millennia it takes."

@juubi249

'Dare to build, dare to believe, dare to suffer, dare to grieve, dare to rise though none remain'

That line right there is so incredibly inspiring, and I feel encapsulates the essence of humainity in a single line

@drazenbristow4962

Even a match is yet a flame burning away the darkness
Keep burning, brothers. Endure

@drekivisku2933

What a epic and beautiful culmination of your past 40k videos into this song.

Normally I'm not the biggest fan of recycling animation/video bits, but here it feels like the end of an epic tale, where all paths come together for a final great reveal and the lyrics in the respective scenes are on point 💪 more than once I got massive goosebumps.

Ave Endless Taverns, for you have brought us a worthy hymne for Big E.

And in the end, never forget...

The Emperor Protects!

@michaelkean5969

“WHAT IS YOUR DUTY?”

“TO SERVE THE EMPEROR’S WILL”

“WHAT IS THE EMPEROR’S WILL?”

“THAT WE FIGHT AND DIE!”

“WHAT IS DEATH?”

“IT IS OUR DUTY!”

What makes mankind so dangerous in Warhammer 40k as opposed to other Sci-fi or fantasy series is that it is an entire SPECIES Weaponised and Militarised, and unlike the Orks, or Eldar who where CREATED to be that way, mankind in 40k are the epitome of self made.

Unlike other sci-fi where humans are seen as somewhat inferior beings and stay that way, in 40k humanity said “nah I’d win” and clawed their way up to be even remotely on the same level as The Eldar, Orks Necrons etc.

Ave imperator Gloria in excelsis Terra

@hiolaverly8158

Okay, even as a guy who's mostly about the broken, zealous Imperium of the 41st, this is probably the best of this series you've done.
Not just because it paints pre-heresy humanity, but because it's told from the point of view of the golden throne.

It paints a picture of an Emporer who still believes in the value of his people, which is in stark contrast to most depictions of the Emporer on the Golden Throne.
Good work

@MauricioLuigui

FOR THE THRONE!! HOLD THE LINE!! WE ARE THE LAST LIGHT AGAINST THE DARK!!! FOR THE EMPEROR OF MANKIND!!!!

@ironmaiden3166

Its interesting to see warhammer in this light. The emperor has always struck me as a neglectful father. Always to busy In his own vision than to question if his own teachings and orders. Representing him as thankful for humanity is really interesting, and I'm here for it!!
