Didn't know Matt Murdock was into Pc performance optimizations

Why is there a handsome ass dude instead of a rock

@LordLab

in "Extencion Block"
in "Type" select :
"Display ID 1.3" if you use HDMI
"Display ID 2.0" if you use Display Port

@JagsFPS

Yeah this is cool and all but we need LDAT benchmarks with 60 to 360hz data and comparisons to reflex + gsync.

@jacobg1835

I'm sorry chat, but CTA-861 + Tiled Display Topology have nothing to do with double/triple buffering. Buffers, whether double or triple, are controlled entirely by the GPU and they are never modified by the monitor. You can disable triple buffering in the configuration settings of your respective GPU apps. The monitor simply displays what the GPU's front buffer contains, and that's it. CTA-861 is an extension block standard which means it only details what supplementary information the monitor informs the GPU on for what it is capable of, such as resolution, refresh rate, pixel clocks, colors, HDR (if applicable), audio (hdmi), and other similar information. Its literally a spec sheet for the monitor. The same can be said for Display ID v1.3 and v2.0. Display ID is another newer and more detailed extension block standard that also acts as a spec sheet for the monitor to inform the GPU of it's capabilities. Tiled Display Topology is a specification that tells the GPU how to merge multiple display output signals into a single, seamless image by aligning and synchronizing them properly. There is nothing at all in that the information standard that could manage or influence an unsupported display’s capabilities or the GPU's handling of its buffers. Plus when you add in a new specification for something unsupported natively doesn't magically make it work. Especially since all it would even do is say the display is a piece of a puzzle that only has one piece? That is like calling a single rowboat a fleet of warships but only consisting of one vessel. Always verify claims with evidence—otherwise, it’s just snake oil. And no, not the Red Dead Redemption 2 kind.<3 you Khorvie and all you do for the community.

@MirrorReaper

it would be nice to validate this with an acctual test using high speed camera or Nvidia LDAT

@caulksoaker

To reset a display back to the default configuration, use the “Delete” button at the top to delete the override from the registry and reboot. To reset all displays, run reset-all.exe and reboot. This can be done in safe mode if necessary.

@onemor3809

Nobody talks about this, but after making this tweak, your monitor will no longer support adaptive refresh rate technology. I noticed screen tearing on my display, so I checked my GPU software, which indicated that my display no longer supported adaptive sync. I had to revert to default settings :/

@user-dg9nz5ty6l

Waiting for the big 2025 windows optimization, So hyped for this, the 2024 version already improved my performance so much, ur just the goat

@KerwynPromoter

Yoooo finally my boy is on cam looking fresh g 🙌

@dn7783

Did you know that reducing your speeds to 3 Hz, lower than your T? V helps remove screen tears when activate with either v sync or alternate sync.

@dstrywnds

1:23 for people who want to skip to the tweak

@cris9044

i love u, cheers from PerĂş - Latino america.

@Tanzu15

We need proof like you always show.

@ClxakVFX

Anyone experiencing issues.. THIS WORKS FOR WINDOWS 11 ONLY!!!

@YDSD

DisplayID 2.0 wont magically reduce input lag. it’s more about future proofing for higher resolutions and dynamic refresh rates

@fnfal113

if you guys don't wanna mess up, don't fix what ain't broken

@RemDeBig

I love the glasses, looks like an music artist
