Seasonality is the gift that keeps on giving, especially when combined with basic regime filters. I've got a few systems that work in that exact manner.

Once again, great stuff Dave...thanks! Well, since Benjamin opened the door for "requests", I have one.

Some info first: I have a trading team that develops automated trading strategies for thinkorswim and tradestation...just for ourselves to trade. Not commercial. Obviously we're very keen on what you do at Peak. However, the thing I've noticed when I see growth curves looking back 12+ years (by yours or anyone's video), they often look great, of course. But when the same strat is looked at for just, let's say, the last X period of months, the trader may end up facing many thousands of dollars of drawdown before the strat actually kicks in to profitability. (Note: I'm not talking about any strat in particular... Possibly the one in this video is not that way. I haven't wired it up yet.) Anyway, as a result of that and the fact that my trading horizon is shorter due to being over 60 in age, I am always looking to modify/apply strats to a much shorter time period ... i.e. for day trading. Actually some of the strats on your channel have been able to work quite well applied to much smaller time periods, albeit not necessarily on the instrument that it was intended for.

So, my question is this: Do you have any strats or plan to do any videos for day traders like me who want to be in and out ... flat ... at the end of the day. I can take a drawdown, but like to be green at the end of the week.

If so, great. If not, that's cool too. I'm always tapped in to your vids. They always deliver. Keep up the great work.

This is the best systematic trading channel, thanks very much Dave. By the way do you use WF to update parameters through time?

@trimih

Great stuff

@vivek-hj2um

You should make video which a layman too can understand...how this coding is done etc

@markweber6315

Complex is right.
