ATM HACKING: TWO SUSPECTS DETAINED

Police have detained two suspects in connection with the recent hacking of bank ATMs around the country.

The suspects a money changer and an employee were caught in Johor Bahru this evening.

According to police the Latin American suspects had been using the services of money changers to help transfer the money out of the country.

The ATMs of at least 17 bank branches belonging to Affin Bank, Al Rajhi Bank and Bank Islam were reportedly hacked by the gang which made off with over 3 million ringgit.
