Magpul CTR cheek risers are too long

In this video I go over the benefit of cutting down the CTR cheek riser to accommodate the charging handle when charging your AR. I’m not sure what Magpul was thinking making them this long but at least they left a nice cut line on the underside of the riser. Alternatively here are some other options if you don’t want to go through the hassle of cutting down the Magpul.
