I'm Zach, a full-time Software Engineer in Japan.

I work fully remote for a small tech company, mostly using React, React Native, and Next.js

I talk a lot about getting into coding for the money, but I also enjoy making cool things, as I am a originally a musician and creator.

A lot of people are hesitant to get into Software Engineering because A. they don't know if they will like it and B. they don't know if they can sit at a desk all day in an office.

For A: I'm explaining in this video why it doesn't really matter long-term, even if you hate coding

For B: look up any day in the life videos of software engineers as companies like Google and Facebook. If you find a good company to work for you will not be sitting in a cubicle office all day. Or you can be like me, working for a small tech start-up and being fully remote, not even in the same city as the company you work for!
