The Freshservice – GitHub Integration App offers seamless integration between Freshservice and GitHub. Using this app, support agents can create, link, and notify GitHub issues. This enables effortless collaboration between support teams and developers—all in one place.

The Freshservice-GitHub app allows support agents to create GitHub issues directly from the Freshservice app form. It also enables them to link existing Freshservice tickets to existing GitHub issues. Additionally, agents can notify the GitHub team by sending comments from Freshservice to GitHub.

We also offer customization based on customer requests, tailored to your specific business needs—bringing GitHub closer to your workflow.

Key Features:
Create Issue:
Create a new GitHub issue from within Freshservice. Agents can choose the issue type (e.g., Bug, Epic, Feature, Task, User Story), fill out relevant fields, and click Create. The issue will be created in GitHub, and the GitHub issue ID will be displayed in the app.

Link Issue:
Support agents can link existing GitHub issues to the current Freshservice ticket. Multiple GitHub issues can be linked to a single Freshservice ticket.

Notify:
Use the Notify button to send comments from Freshservice to all linked GitHub issues. These comments will appear in GitHub, keeping developers informed.

Issue Log:
View a detailed log of the issue history—including comment threads—within the Freshservice ticket via the Issue Log modal.

Configure App:
Map specific fields between Freshservice and GitHub to keep your data consistent and synchronized.
