@theblackjockeyslounge is one of my daughter’s @pinkrainbowgirl favorite dinner restaurants. We ate here TWICE during our trip to Louisville, Kentucky earlier this year. And, we made a detour on a road-trip to the mid-west from South Carolina later in the year just so she could eat here. (Yes, I know it’s tough being a Travel & Food Creator’s kid.)
Everyone at the Black Jockey has been so friendly to us on our 3 times eating there. And, they’ve been friendly to and happy to have my kiddo which makes them extra special and recommended. The best times to eat here are Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings when there is live music.
My mini heated up the dance floor. She is non-stop. Pretty soon others joined her. And, a few people even gave her tips. This Mama was happy she burned some energy to help fall asleep.
The food is delicious. We’ve eaten wings, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp and grits and steak tacos here. YUM! Black Jockey in Louisville is calling my name now!
