D.E. Shaw Connect Event with Quant Researchers, Traders, Engineers, Generalists, and More!

D.E. Shaw is one of the largest hedge funds in the world, and they’re known for compensating their employees very well. According to levels.fyi, their SWE interns earn $82+/hour and their Quantitative Trader interns earn $96+/hour. In this video, I’ll share my experience attending D.E. Shaw’s ConnectSF event, an invite only event for undergraduates. I’ll share how I got invited, pictures from event itself, and afterthoughts.
