New Joiners - Central Document Store With Help Of Shared Mailbox (Office 365) - SharePoint Online

Hi All,

In this tutorial I have tried to show you how you can leverage Power Automate a.k.a Flow, Shared Mail Box as well as SharePoint Online to centrally collect documents from an external email client such as GMAIL or YAHOO mail client and process it based on your business logic.

Our requirement was to collect the new joiners document with necessary form details before their joining date to have less manual work with effective time utilization.

Services Used:
1) Java App - responsible to send email to new joiners personal email address
2) Shared Mail Box - New joiners will send all necessary documents to this dedicated mailbox.
3) Power Automate - Process logic once email arrives in Shared Mail Box and store all attachments from email to SharePoint Document Library and conversation to SharePoint List.
