Hyundai's i20 is more expensive than the Baleno and with good reason. Here are three things to keep in mind when you're choosing between the two:
First, the i20 is the more appealing and the more sophisticated experience because of the design of the cabin, the materials and use, the equipment on offer. It gets TPMS, it gets a Bose sound system which is truly immersive and all of it makes it feel more upmarket.
Second, its other big advantage is its CVT automatic which makes it genuinely city friendly. It is a lot more expensive than the AMT on the Baleno but the experience also is richer. Third, the Baleno though is a default recommendation for people because it's the better all-rounder. The tune for the suspension is better, the back seat has more space which means for longer trips with the family it will be the more comfortable car. Also, its engine is a star. It's enjoyable even with the manual transmission and is more efficient as well.
