Part 2: The Mythological Story of Capricorn and Pisces ♓ | Greek Mythology Explained

Zeus is the only deity who does not flee and retains his human form. Thus, the battle between Zeus and Typhon begins. Zeus tries everything, but he cannot harm Typhon. In desperation, he hurls thunderbolts and searches for a weak spot. However, the thunderbolts that strike Typhon have no effect. In one of Typhon's attacks, Zeus's tendon is severed and torn from his body, causing the mighty god to fall. Meanwhile, Aphrodite and Eros, fleeing from Typhon's terror, seek refuge in the protective embrace of the rivers. In the calm waters of the river, Aphrodite takes her son Eros in her arms and moves deeper into the waters. Suddenly, their bodies are covered in a shimmering light, and the river god transforms them into two fish, tying them together by their tails. In this way, they both escape from Typhon and stay connected. As a result of the battle, Typhon fulfills his mother Gaia's wish, takes revenge for the Titans, and becomes the ruler of the universe.
