History Does NOT Repeat Itself!

My blog post:

We cannot follow in the footsteps of our parents because we are too aware.

Here’s the truth.

Only an unaware civilization can declare war and truthfully consider the enemy as non-humans.

Our ancestors were much less aware than us.

And as we become more aware, the way of living of past generations becomes unviable.

Just as slavery faded out.
Just as all sorts of unconsciousness are fading out, so too are other ways of life.

This is good.

This just means the best guides for us are our inner selves. It knows better than any mental guide how we live best.

Let’s stop trying to use the equivalent of a 1950s guide on how to make a hit TV show in 2022.

History does not repeat itself.
