What is penetration testing?

To help councils tackle growing cyber threats, the Local Government Association has released explainer animations on cyber security concepts. These short videos are aimed at non-technical audiences, to raise awareness and increase understanding among council officers and councillors, and aid decision making by senior leaders when engaging with cyber risk.

This video will define penetration testing and outline key considerations for effective penetration testing.
