Great news! PAs work in every specialty, or at least they can. There are some that are served by a different type of advanced practice provider (CRNAs/nurse anesthetists for anesthesia for example) but for the most part, PAs can work anywhere and everywhere.

How much do they pay? That depends on years of experience, location, and responsibilities--but we cover the 50th percentile for compensation according to the 2019 & 2020 AAPA Salary Report for a few of the most common specialties.
