A stunning 12-foot bronze sculpture of a young Black woman now stands tall in Manhattan’s Duffy Square—graceful, grounded, and unapologetically present. Created by acclaimed figurative artist Thomas J. Price, this powerful work is part of his series “Grounded in the Stars,” which challenges preconceived notions of identity, presence, and representation in public space.
