The word Thandava brings images of the dance depicting Shiva in divine glory. For centuries, the purists have focussed on the dance form of high energy and intensity that had the potential of inducing potence of cosmic propositions. However, during all this time, the music which goes along with the Thandava, the essence without which the dance would have been incomplete hardly got the appreciation it warranted.

From the metaphorical viewpoint, it would resemble the flash of lightning without the magnificence of the thunderous roar. In fact, the music of Bhairava Thandava very much depicts that colossal impact of the thunder that you cannot lockout of your senses even though you might have missed the lightning flash in the blink of your eye. The high intensity and tremendous energy that this piece of music brings is capable of churning the stomachs of even the brave hearts, convert the staunchest naysayers and leave the listener with an impact that is sure to last a lifetime...... Bhairava Thandava......
