💪🏼Training while fasting, will you lose muscle?
A new 2025 study divided 28 people into 2 groups. One group trained after an overnight fast, while the 2nd group consumed a high-carb breakfast before the workout [1].
After 12 weeks, muscle growth and strength gain was SIMILAR in both groups.
I personally prefer eating something before training, because it makes me feel more energized.
But this new study suggests that it’s fine if you prefer exercising fasted in the morning!
