Googies Coffeeshop was a small restaurant, designed by John Lautner, that existed from 1949 till 1988. It's design was so influential that is started a whole new movement in archtiecture: called Googie, named after the restaurant. This video first explains the history of Googie than, with the help of John Lautner's original drawings and photos of a scale model, I show an entire reconstruction and walkthrough of the famous restaurant. To preserve the legacy of John Lautner and to enjoy the beauty of his work.
