“What does a Home Health Aide do?” 

The goal of the home health aide is to keep your family member safe. They want to make the person comfortable and keep your family at ease. What I look for in a home health aide is a caregiver with Integrity, customer service, and reliability. 

During their hours-long shifts, an HHA will manage the patient from a safe perspective, by helping the family member to walk, shower, dress, and prepare meals. An HHA could be a clinical resource for both the family and doctors as well.
