Bright Mid Infrared Photoluminescence in Giant HgSe/CdSe Quantum Dots

Research talk presented at the NanoGE Virtual Conference, on Oct 22, 2020. I discussed my work on growth of a thick CdS shell around HgSe quantum dots, to determine the intraband nonradiative mechanism, and obtain bright mid-infrared photoluminescence.
