Documentary photographer John Miller (Ngaitewake-ki-uta, Uritaniwha, Ngati Rehia hapu of Ngapuhi) discusses his work with Ron Brownson, Senior Curator, New Zealand and Pacific Art.

John's 1973 series of photographs taken at Te Kaha-nui-a-tiki marae are currently on show in Whano Kē: Change and Constancy in Māori Art Today.
