Where the hell have you been?

I just want to say a huge thank you to everybody who has subscribed to the channel over the last few weeks and months. We have recently past 1000 subscribers and this means an awful lot to me, so thank you to every single one of you.

I appreciate that some of you may have stumbled across some of my running videos, others may have found me through my cycling videos, or other fitness challenges that I have undertaken, or you might have seen some of the creative films that I have made about my home city of Edinburgh. I hope that the one thing that ties all of these videos together is my honesty about my own experiences.

You may have noticed that I have been absent from YouTube for the last few weeks and there is a very good reason for this. Something very unfortunate has happened and I am probably going through one of the most defining moments of my life. It has been very very difficult and I have had to take quite a bit of time off work. But when the time is right, I am sure I will talk about my experiences and what I have learned.

One of the things that has really helped recently is seeing the huge number of positive comments on the videos that I have made in the past. I really really appreciate this so thank you again to everybody that takes the time to do this. I find this very humbling and motivating.

My recent experiences have also made me reflect on my YouTube channel and the kind of videos I want to make in the future. And again a big thank you to everybody who has told me that my honesty and transparency has helped them in some way. I really want my channel to be a platform where I can be very honest about my own experiences with the aim of positively impacting other people. And hopefully I can do this in an entertaining and informative way using this beautiful city of Edinburgh as my backdrop.

I will be back very soon so please bear with me. And in the meantime, thank you again to each and every single one of you for your support. It really means a lot.
