How to prepare for a MATHS DEGREE - Advice from an OXFORD student

Studying Maths at degree level can be quite a difficult task: especially since you constantly have the pressure of the world-renowned antique question: "When will I ever use this in real life?" on your back. Whether you received an offer to study Maths at university next autumn and don't know the answer to this question yourself, or you're sure that Mathematics is the right path for you, or you have no intention of studying Maths at degree level, but still wanna have a glimpse into the world of a Maths student, I would simply say - let's start with the basics - How should you prepare for a degree in Mathematics.
