SUBJAKARTA

'SubJakarta' is a documentary made by Jack Bartrop about the rock'n'roll scene in Indonesia's capital, Jakarta. Part 1 is an animated history of rock'n'roll in Indonesia given by local legend David Tarigan. Part 2 follows the band Indische Party as they prepare for the launch of their debut album. This is the first steppingstone for the band to reach an audience outside their own community and outside their own country.
