9 years ago on May 22, a man named Laszlo Hanyecz bought a pair of Papa John's pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins. According to today's bitcoin price, that Papa John's pizza worth $79,040,000 now. This marks the first time known as using Bitcoin for purchasing goods. Now we celebrate that anniversary as Bitcoin Pizza Day every year.
