What I'm Reading: The Little ASP.NET Core Book by Nate Barbettini
I ran into a bug that prevented me from moving forward in an online course for over an hour, so I'm asking for help from the instructor and brushing up on other MVC knowledge.
A programmer friend once expressed that, the longer a computer science or programming book is, the less value it often has to offer. And I sometimes find that to be true. Material is often presented at a very low or very high level, and to cover all the ground that you need to know the material well, you have to read a lot of books, documentation, and StackOverflow forum posts.
And that's why I don't skim over little gems that teach the "basics"--there's often so much that you think you know, but don't until it's explained in a way that a human can understand.
