Avoid Interview Atrophy At All Costs

I once interviewed someone that clearly was a good fit for the job, but they struggled with simple interview questions. It was evident that a lack of practice had caused his interviewing skills to atrophy. 

While their experience was impressive, with long stints at big tech and a fancy title, policy dictates that we could not extend an offer to this person.
