Material Design launches its new design system: more innovative and groundbreaking than ever.
But... have they perhaps gone too far? We analyze it in this video.

We see visually impeccable elements, with modern and very well-executed animations. But are they prioritizing expressiveness over usability and accessibility?

Are they designing a system too focused on Generation Z and Alpha, forgetting about older users?

According to Google, this is one of its most studied releases: more than 46 internal studies and more than 20,000 users have tested Material Expressive before its release, with very positive data and wide acceptance.

But... is everything really that well designed? Although there are very successful and innovative proposals, we also find decisions that raise doubts.
Will such expressiveness be enough to compensate for the lack of usability in certain cases?
