Camera
We use a Canon Rebel T7 for filming all of our talking head segments. This is an entry-level DSLR that works well for us. We’ve been loyal Canon users for decades.

We like to keep things simple! We use a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens. It’s a basic, all-purpose lens.

GoPro
We like to keep our equipment minimal when we travel. We love the GoPro because it’s lightweight, has excellent video quality, and it is less conspicuous to carry around than a traditional DSLR. We use the GoPro Hero 12 Black.

Rode Wireless Mic
It was very important to us from the beginning to invest in a high quality microphone. The Rode wireless mics are trusted by countless YouTubers. We can connect the mics to our iPhone or DSLR, so they are great all-purpose mics we can take anywhere.

Softbox Light Kit
Our light kit is pretty basic but we love it. We used this light kit in the states and tried a different set when we moved to Portugal. However, we ended up going back to this kit and we’ve been happy ever since.
